To me, the bottomline is: Don't go into blogging to make a living, as Mark Cuban says. Do it for fun, and keep the sense of fun going.

that's really good advice. "reguarly" is important though not everyday, or even every week - you reader just needs to be able to anticipate when they should visit you next.
and yes, it should always be fun, or what's the point?
Thanks for stressing on the fun and spontaneity. I read recent news reports of compulsive commercial bloggers who died of exhaustion likely from keeping up with hectic posting schedules.
